Even if it is not the way that we prefer to suggest to see the city, it is a very convenient and fast way to explore the main sites of the eternal city for those that haven't a lot of time to spend in Rome or for those that they get tired easily from walking.

Rome has more sights than many capital cities put together. Thanks to its illustrious past, Italy’s capital bursts with art and architectural masterpieces, from well-preserved Roman ruins to Baroque piazzas. City Sightseeing hop-on, hop-off buses leave every 15–20 minutes daily, beginning at 9 am from Via Marsala (beside Termini station), on a 100-minute loop, up to 7:30pm.

You can hop on and off at any of the eight stops anytime you wish at, or stay aboard for an entire loop (roughly 1.5-2 hours), seeing the sights and listening to the informative onboard audio commentary pre-recorded Italian, English, French, German, Spanish, Russian, Chinese and Japanese. Plus, with free WiFi on board, you're free to blog, tweet and upload and share photos along the way.
